During this summer, the RESTAURANT is closed but the BAR and the BREWERY are still open from 6.pm to midnight !

( from the 6th to 27th of August )

The majestic building in which you find yourself is one of the achievements of Louis-Marie Cordonnier (1854-1940) the greatest architect of the North of his time, to his credit memorable buildings representative of the region, the Opera House and the House of Lille trade but also many belfries and churches.

The pre-war period is prosperous, the economy of the region is flourishing, Nord Pas-de-Calais is rich in its coal, the Mines Company of Lens is also the incarnation.

He needs a Lille seat to his measure!

In 1904, Louis-Marie Cordonnier delivered this sumptuous neoclassical building on the floor of which the council met to fix, among other things, the price of Coke for its stock market listing. Coke was used to heat the blast furnaces of the metallurgical industry then at its peak.

From coal to the furnace there is only one step! Ours continues to value the wealth of the region by giving pride of place to the terroir, its producers respectful of the seasons and their land through a dynamic map where the conviviality of the North plays out!
